Tobi Lou Gets Animated In “Buff Baby” Video

From his classic tracks like “Game Ova” to his recent breakout single “Troop” with SminoTobi Lou continues to take the Internet by storm. The Chicago artist recently finished off his EP trilogy with tobi lou and the Juice, boasting talent from Galimatias and Zack Villere in an exciting bundle of tunes. Tobi’s clever pen is often backed by muted synths and spacey percussion to create a refreshing sound.

Tobi returns to our pages with his latest set of visuals for “Buff Baby,” tag-teaming with animator Ronald Grandprey and right-hand director Glassface. Drawing inspiration from Adventure Time!, Tobi fills the video with a slew of Easter eggs for fans to unravel, including a nod to everyone eager for “Numbers” to drop. With his Cult Classic debut album on the way later this Fall, Tobi is well on his way to another banner year.

Michael Christmas Is Back With “Not The Only One” Featuring Tobi Lou

With his new album on the way, Michael Christmas is holding us down with a fresh single titled “Not The Only One.” Christmas delivers his witty and down-to-earth verses, covering everything from losing 2K games by double digits to being a proud Naruto fan. Also along for the ride is the Windy City’s tobi lou, who ties the track together with a catchy hook over crisp production from Durkin. Together the trio crafts a tune sure to have you vibing along.

Christmas also unveiled a set of accompanying visuals for the track, directed by himself and Hunter Lyon, who also helped bring Hodgy‘s “Barbell” to life.  The video follows Christmas tracing his footsteps from the night before, unraveling the adventure piece by piece.
