Rising collective and rap squad BreezePark have set a strong foundation for their bright future with their debut EP, Strangers. The 12-track project features the four rappers of the group—PLAY, Cameron Parker, Ty Safari, and Rye—passing the mic across production from several similarly talented producers including Mike Gao, Soulection’s own Esta, Martin $ky, and more. Each emcee brings their own distinct voice to the table, culminating in an overall cohesive sound that quickly grapples the attention of listeners. Bursts of aggression balanced with introspective verses make the project an easy staple in any library. With cosigns from fellow Virginia icons Pusha T and Pharrell, I’m sure BreezePark will continue to carry the torch in 2016.
