Joey recently performed at his hometown’s Pitchfork Music Festival, backed by close collaborators Knox Fortune and Peter Cottontale of The Social Experiment. Alongside running through many iiiDrops favorites like “Girls @” and “Cornerstore,” Joey also brought out fellow Savemoney reps KAMITowkio, and Vic Mensa to bless the stage. Joey wraps up his confident and hard-hitting performance by previewing a few cuts from his forthcoming Quarter Things project, making for one of the standout sets from the festival.

Joey Purp Shares Lush Remix of “Say You Do”

On the heels of the “Girls @” joyride, Joey Purp has returned with a dreamy set of visuals for “Say You Do.” The acoustic rendition forgoes the original production in favor of mellow guitar plucks and basslines from Knox FortuneCarter Lang, and Franco Davis. Joey delivers a silky remix as he serenades us from a flashing ball pit, drifting through each verse.

Savemoney general Joey Purp has unveiled the first music video from his impressive debut project, iiiDrops. The Knox Fortune-produced cut features fellow Chicago artist Chance the Rapper, culminating in a high-octane track. Directed by Weird Life Films, the similarly energetic visuals follow Joey, Chance, and Knox doing donuts in the parking lot with beautiful women at their side.
