Yared Kiflai Makes Impressive Debut With “CGH”

There’s no doubt that the Bay Area is one of the current leaders of music, art, and pretty much anything creative. With the likes of CaleborateElujay, and DUCKWRTH at the forefront, the Bay is building an unrivaled community and culture that’s stronger than ever.

One of the latest to emerge from the pack is Yared Kiflai, who recently shared a hazy cut titled “CGH.” The Oakland emcee recruits production from Michael Kane and Ian McKee, stringing together an eerie atmosphere topped off with piercing percussion. Bouncing between a woozy hook and swift verses, Yared showcases his malleable flow throughout his debut track. “CGH” also stands as the first taste of his Twentysomethings EP, which we’re anxious to unravel in the coming weeks.

Get familiar with Yared below, and keep up with him on SoundCloud and Twitter.
