DAZE Drops Off Heavy Double Track, “Strength / Pressure”

Following his remix of Sevdaliza‘s “Marilyn Monroe,” W&V favorite DAZE has returned with “Strength / Power.” Produced by Blanda, the Suffolk emcee leaves no stone unturned. DAZE’s unparalleled drive, motivation, and honesty permeates throughout cut as he details his recent rollercoaster of experiences and prospects for the future. Building up to a thundering hook before slowing the tempo with a smooth outro, he demonstrates his versatility on the mic as he reflects on his life and the current state of the industry. Unafraid to showcase the vulnerability we’ve seen on “Aurora” and “Roses,” the double track stands as another sign of progression as DAZE continues to explore and refine his sound.

DAZE also shared a few words on the track:

“A lot of stuff inspired this song. I wrote it specifically off of stuff I’m going through right now, like my breakup with my ex, how hard my mom supported me, and what people my age listen to today. I tried to incorporate something that everyone today can relate to without lying in my music. The first time I recorded it I felt as if I was the fan listening to my own music and that’s when I knew that this was one of my favorite songs I’ve made so far.”
