Awful Records Reveals “Awful Days” Documentary

Late last year, Awful Records teamed-up with Boiler Room for an exclusive Atlanta set; with a slew of performances hosted by the crew’s own Bootymath, it was a proper introduction for many. Since then, the DIY enthusiasts have continued to rise with their steady stream of releases and tours, with even more to come.

Also cooking behind the scenes was Awful Days, a half-hour documentary visiting the stories of each member and gradually dissecting how the collective came together. With songstresses like Abra and Alexandria blended with rap shamans Slug Christ and Tommy Genesis, there’s no shortage of talent in Awful. The stark contrast of sound permeates throughout the group, ultimately allowing the team to shine in their own light, both individually and as a family.
