Michael Christmas // “Paranoid” (Prod. Tedd Boy & Latrell James)

[Art by Josh Pearson]

I first heard of Michael Christmas when he opened for Logic during his sold-out Under Pressure tour. As the only rapper I can think of that can start his set with the Pokémon theme song and pull it off with finesse, I’ve been a fan of his ever since. Each of his raps showcase honesty that leaves no stone unturned, channeled through his smooth delivery.

“It also represents the time I write and think of my best shit – when I’m dead tired. As an artist my sleep schedule is fucked and as bad as it is, I like it that way. It feels good to be tired from dreaming,” – Michael Christmas, XXL

As the first single from his upcoming Baggy Eyes EP, his latest track is a product of sleepless nights caused by surges of creativity. Christmas continues to refine his sound and flow over production from Tedd Boy and Latrell James, and will soon add another set of great tracks to his repertoire.

Stream “Paranoid” below and expect Baggy Eyes later this month. Also, revisit his latest visuals for “Bubbling.”
