Anderson .Paak has recently stepped into the spotlight of the music industry, demonstrating versatility at it’s finest. Longtime fans may remember when Paak went by the moniker Breezy Lovejoy, his resumé already filled with collaborations with Dumbfoundead, Watsky, and Wax, whereas most new fans likely took notice of the Oxnard visionary after he was featured on an astonishing six tracks of Dr. Dre’s latest album, Compton. Since then, Paak has also worked with The Game and Madlib on their respective albums.
Last night on his Beats 1 Radio show The Pharmacy, Dr. Dre debuted the latest cut from Paak. With production from none other than 9th Wonder and Callum Connar of LoDef Beats, the double-track seamlessly complements Paak’s iconic raspy-yet-smooth vocals and prominently showcases talent from all ends.
Be sure to snag your own copy of the track via iTunes, as well as Paak’s latest album, Venice. Also be sure to stay posted as we learn more about his upcoming album, Malibu, set to be released before the end of the year.
